Thermodynamic principle, Carnot cycle
The Carnot cycle describes the process that the ct turbo technology follows.
Description
Evaporation
Energy is withdrawn from the environment (the heat source) by evaporating a part of the coolant (ct turbo water) in a vacuum.
Compression
The coolant in the gaseous state (steam) is compressed mechanically (using the ct turbo turbo-compressor). Compression increases the
temperature.
Condensation
The compressed steam condenses and releases energy.
Expansion
Coolant pressure is reduced using a throttle to return it to the original liquid state and can be evaporated again.
